Zafaco passed away peacefully on the 6th of January 2003. Leaving us with memories of her gentle personality and kindness of heart which we will treasure for ever.

Zafaco was "the lady of the house". She carried herself with grace and dignity, and was well known for her strong feminine personality. Being the oldest dog in the house, she has brought up the younger ones, and had two of her daughters, Millie and Jessie living with her. When people came to visit, Zafa was convinced that they had come with the purpose of seeing her. She loved being the centre of attention, and would persuade anyone to make a fuss of her, for hours if possible.
Even when she was getting on in life, she still enjoed a walk, or even better, going for a drive or being taken along for a visit to friends. She would invite herself if she felt like joining in any event. Zafa was one of those dogs that only lacked the human language, the rest was pretty much there.
